Part of TSRA's mission is to support junior programs, shooting competition, and hunter education throughout Texas.
Texas offers young people an incredible variety of opportunities to get involved in shooting sports. Whether they are beginners, intermediate competitors, or advanced athletes, youth can participate in programs ranging from local clubs to Olympic-style shooting sports.
TSRA works with organizations across Texas to support youth competitions, coach training, equipment grants, scholarships, firearm safety education, and other programs that help young shooters develop skills, responsibility, confidence, and lifelong friendships.
Youth programs help teach responsible firearm handling, hunter education, marksmanship fundamentals, and safe participation in the shooting sports.
