The Texas State Rifle Association’s Political Action Committee works to educate elected officials, the media, and the general public about issues relating to the freedoms guaranteed by the Second Amendment and the Texas Constitution.
We work year-round for Texans’ gun rights, not just when the Legislature is in session. We support grassroots activism and outreach efforts to spread the truth about guns, gun ownership, hunting, and shooting sports.
We continuously monitor federal legislation and court cases that might impact Texas and Texans.
We advocate for fair and honest journalism and we always provide informed responses to media inquiries. We know what we’re talking about and we have nothing to hide.
Beyond Second Amendment issues, we also work with legislators, civic leaders, and groups to expand hunting opportunities, protect shooting ranges and promote interest in firearm education.
We are donor-supported. By law, contributions are not tax-deductible. We don’t have any billionaire patrons with bottomless wallets.
